HTC and Verizon Wireless have recently officially announced their upcoming 4G LTE Android smartphone at CES 2011 event called the HTC Thunderbolt. These new handsets will LTE-capable that offers faster data speed transfer.

The HTC Thunderbolt smartphone packs a 4.3-inch touchscreen display (800 x 480), an 8-megapixel rear-facing camera with HD video recording, a front-facing camera for video calls, and wireless DLNA support.

HTC Thunderbolt 4G LTE-capable handset is boasted by a 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, and run on Android 2.2 Froyo OS with HTC’s new Sense UI. Sadly, there’s no reported on release date and pricing yet.
